Yoga with Shelley
JOIN US ON WEDNESDAYS FROM 11:30 – 12:30 FOR YOGA CLASSES
Sessions are $39 each. Private yoga sessions, Pilates, meditation, breathwork, and Reiki are also available. Classes must have 4 people registered to be held.
Shelley was first drawn to yoga and Pilates classes to increase her flexibility so she could keep up with her three young children. Having been accustomed to fast paced strenuous exercise, she honestly found the slower pace of yoga and Pilates challenging.
Her determination to increase her flexibility however, kept her coming back. Slowly she began noticing a calm peacefulness and new found confidence permeating her days long after class had ended. Her Pilates teacher noticed her passion and encouraged her to become a teacher. This passion led her to earn her 500 hour yoga certification. Her desire to meet her students wherever they are in their health and wellness journey motivated her to become certified in meditation, pranayama (breathwork), EMBER (embodied, mindfulness-based resilience course geared toward people rebuilding their lives after trauma) and Reiki.
For the past eight years she has had the great pleasure of guiding preschoolers, teens, adults, and active older adults on their journey towards increased flexibility, strength, mindfulness, anxiety and pain reduction, ease, & balance. Shelley is excited to be offering her skills and experience to the Anodyne community in weekly small group yoga classes or private sessions for yoga, Pilates, meditation, breathwork, & Reiki.
